The Philips Series 3200 LatteGo EP3246/70 is a compact bean-to-cup machine. It has a 12-step ceramic grinder, a simple touch display and the tube-free LatteGo frother, and makes espresso, coffee, americano, cappuccino and latte macchiato. Owners like how easy it is to use and clean, the coffee quality and the foamy milk. Drawbacks are the small 0.26 L milk jug, no milk-only setting, high water use with a quickly filling drip tray, and no app or profiles. Some owners report leaks and one an early grinder failure. It suits households wanting simple one-touch coffee and milky drinks with little cleaning, not those making many milk drinks in a row. It is out of stock at Philips UK, Amazon.co.uk and Currys Business, while the newer Series 3300 LatteGo is widely available for less. No independent long-term reliability data was available.

Ease of use and cleaning is the most common praise in the Amazon.co.uk reviews read, both in the full reviews and in the quoted excerpts. One reviewer found it difficult to use.
Reviewers note the milk container is too small, and one says it holds enough for only one latte. This matches the 0.26 L capacity in the specification.
One 1-star UK review reports leaking, loud grinding noise, no low-bean alert, a small water tank, short filter life and frequent automatic rinse cycles that waste water.
Reviewers like the LatteGo froth, describing lovely foamy milk for lattes and saying it works perfectly with non-dairy milk. Philips also claims LatteGo froths plant-based alternatives.
Reviewers are split on value. Several call it worth every penny or a good price, while others find it too expensive for its functions or build quality.
The Series 3300 LatteGo (EP3347/90), which adds iced drinks, SilentBrew and app support, is in stock at Argos and John Lewis for £369.99, well below the EP3246/70's last Philips UK price.
Reliability reports are mixed. One reviewer reports the machine working as well as new after just over a year. Another says the grinder stopped working within 3 months and the machine leaked water soon after repair. No independent reliability data (e.g. Which?) could be accessed.
Currys Business lists espresso, americano, coffee, cappuccino, latte macchiato and hot water. Philips advertises 5 coffee options, including cappuccino and latte via LatteGo.
Several reviewers say the machine uses a lot of water. They report that the drip tray fills quickly and must be emptied after every use, and that the water tank feels small because the filter takes up space.

This is a great option for your bean to cup coffee/latte/cappuccino/espresso maker. Lots of ways to configure the machine for the size and strength of coffee you want. Easy for your cappuccino. Easily makes two coffee/espresso/americanos side by side. 5 types coffee plus hot water for tea. If you run out of water in the middle, it tells you, you fill up, and it finishes your option. Great machine, and now I’m drinking even more coffee. I love it.

I love my new coffee machine, I think it is one of the most expensive devices in our kitchen but it worth the price. It is well build, easy to use, easy to clean, and makes lovely coffee, not sure why I haven't bought one for so many years. It is still early days so I cannot comment on the longevity of the product but time will tell.

it is leaking, it is quite difficult to use...
machine is soooo loud that wakes up our baby... there is no alert that there is no coffee beans in.... water tank is small and you need to keep it almost full and filter dies so quickly. we truly regret that we bought it. nightmare No option of only hot milk! too expensive for basic functions. Milk container is for 1 latter only. Even when you leave cup so water after cleaning goes to cup. However there is water around and in the container with hot coffee. No idea why. Everything is wet. There is no place for grinded coffee Instruction is poor. Machine turns off automatically very quickly and you cannot stop it and it wastes water as cleans it again and again. Disapointing. Wasting of our money. Better to bin it.

The milk frother works perfectly with non-dairy milk e.g. Alpro Coconut-Almond. Very easy to use & clean.

The Philips 3200 is a popular super-automatic coffee machine featuring a removable brew group and a very convenient, easy-to-clean milk container. However, it only doses up to around 8 grams of coffee per shot, resulting in relatively mild drinks and a lungo-style extraction. While suitable for those who prefer lighter coffee and simple maintenance, the reviewer prefers rival machines such as the De'Longhi Magnifica Evo for richer espresso and superior milk texture.
The Philips 3200 LatteGo is an intuitive and compact bean-to-cup machine offering five drink selections. It stands out for its hose-free, dishwasher-safe LatteGo milk carafe, which produces impressive frothed milk while remaining effortless to clean and maintain.
