What we process and why
Research requests
If you ask us to research a product that isn't on the site, we store the product name you typed as a request, which we review. To prevent abuse there is a daily limit on requests. To apply it, we store a one-way hash made from your IP address with the request; your IP address itself is not stored. The hash is deleted after 30 days. The product name stays in the request record.
Lawful basis: legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)): keeping the service from being abused.
Running the site securely
When you open a page, your browser sends your IP address and browser details to our server, as it does with any website. We use them to deliver the page and to protect the site from attacks. For security and troubleshooting, server access logs (IP address, page requested, time and response code) are kept for 14 days and then deleted automatically.
Lawful basis: legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)): running the site securely.
Visit statistics (Google Analytics)
We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are read and how the site is used. Its cookies are only set if you agree. Google Analytics collects the pages you visit, your approximate location (country or city) and your device and browser type. We don't use it to identify you.
Lawful basis: consent (Article 6(1)(a) and PECR regulation 6).
Advertising (Google AdSense)
Pages may show Google AdSense ads. Google and its partners use cookies to serve and measure ads and, if you agree, to choose them based on your interests. If you don't agree, you may still see non-personalised ads. How Google uses this data: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Lawful basis: consent (Article 6(1)(a) and PECR regulation 6).
When you email us
If you email us, we use your email address and message only to reply and deal with your request.
Lawful basis: legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)). For data protection requests, legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)).

Who receives your data and where it goes
We never sell data. The site runs on servers of the hosting provider we use. Google processes Google Analytics and AdSense data and may transfer it outside the UK, including to the United States. Google provides safeguards for those transfers under the UK International Data Transfer Addendum and the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. We may disclose data to authorities where the law requires it.
Senti Teknoloji Ltd. is based outside the UK, so data you give us directly, such as emails and research requests, is processed outside the UK.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, have it corrected or erased, restrict or object to its processing, data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing. To use any of these rights, email contact@netreview.co.uk. We will reply within one month, free of charge.
