The Philips Series 3300 LatteGo (EP3347/90) is a compact bean-to-cup machine with a 12-step ceramic grinder, a 15-bar pump, a 1.8 L tank, six one-touch drinks including iced coffee, and the tube-free LatteGo milk jug. Owners like how easy it is to use, the consistent coffee and the quick-to-clean milk system, and Philips claims it is 40% quieter than its earlier machines. Downsides raised by owners are poor printed instructions, milk drinks some find not hot enough, small default drinks, no milk-only frothing and frequent emptying and refilling. It suits households wanting simple espresso, americano and milky drinks with little cleaning effort, and is less suited to people who want very hot, large mug drinks or barista-style control. No independent UK lab test or long-term reliability data was found.

What the features mean in everyday use.
The EP3347/90 has a 15-bar pump, draws 1500 W when brewing, and has a 1.8 L water tank and a 275 g bean hopper.
It has a ceramic grinder with 12 settings, 3 aroma-strength levels and 3 temperature settings, and drink length is adjustable through My Coffee Choice.
LatteGo is a 0.26 L, tube-free, dishwasher-safe milk carafe that Philips says can be cleaned in as little as 10 seconds. The machine cannot make two milk drinks at once (milk double cup: No).
Philips says SilentBrew makes brewing 40% quieter than earlier models. John Lewis lists the machine as Quiet Mark certified.
The brew group is removable, descaling is guided, and the machine takes AquaClean filters, which Philips says allow up to 5,000 cups before descaling. The water tank and waste container are reached from the front.
It measures 246 x 371 x 433 mm and weighs 8 kg. The spout adjusts from 85 to 145 mm.
Easy setup and simple one-touch operation is the most frequent praise in the sampled UK retailer reviews.
Many sampled reviewers describe the coffee as good or consistent, and several note that the result depends on the beans used.
Reviewers praise the LatteGo froth, including with plant milks, and find the milk jug and drip tray easy to clean.
Some owners say it is quiet compared with their previous machines. One notes that the pump is louder than the grinder.
Several owners found the printed instructions poor and relied on the online manual or YouTube.
A minority of reviewers say drinks, especially milk drinks, are not as hot as they would like, even on the highest setting.
A few reviewers complain of small default drinks, a weak latte without an extra shot, and no way to froth or heat milk on its own.
A few sampled reviews report early faults: a ground-coffee chute that stopped working within a month, and a machine that kept clogging and was returned. These are individual reports, not a failure rate.
Some owners say the drip tray fills quickly and water and beans need frequent topping up. One found cleaning more involved than on their previous Krups.
Coffeeness, an English-language German site with non-UK pricing, rates the machine as quiet, easy to clean and good for espresso and milk foam. It notes that the 'touch display' is touch buttons with colour icons, the app only gives instructions and tips, and coffee volume is hard to adjust. Its phone app measured the grinder at 63 dB.
On 2026-10-24, Currys, Argos and John Lewis all listed the EP3347/90 at £369.99. Currys showed a previous price of £549.99.
Which? does not list a test of the Series 3300 / EP3347/90, so there is no independent UK lab score or reliability data for this model.
The John Lewis review pool is mostly syndicated from Philips, includes reviews dated before this model's launch and has replies about other models such as the EP5546/70. Its overall rating is therefore not specific to the EP3347/90.

Owners mostly praise how simple the machine is to set up and use, the consistent coffee, and the two-part LatteGo milk jug, which many say froths well (plant milks included) and is quick to rinse or put in the dishwasher. Several also find it quieter than their previous machine. The most common complaints are thin printed instructions, which send owners to the online manual or YouTube, and milk drinks that some feel are not hot enough. Others mention small default drinks or weak lattes, no option to froth milk on its own, and frequent emptying of the drip tray and topping up of water and beans. A few owners report early faults such as a failed ground-coffee chute or clogging. Store AI summaries mention noise complaints, but these were rare in the sampled reviews.

The best purchase of 2026. Grind and brew a perfect coffee. Easy access yo all moving parts and excellent exclusive design. Perfect for tight kitchen where each inch is valuable. Looks very luxurious.
J*** 5/5 10 September 2026 api.feefo.com Currys review
Very nice. Easy to use, easy to clean. It has a function where it automatically sprays water out the nozzle when it starts so it clears all the coffee debris out. The drop tray is long, it's the whole base and you just pull it out to empty the water and the coffee waste. It makes a decent size cup when you put it on full. X2 for a travel mug. Would recommend if you just want to press a button and make a coffee without the hassle.

Surprisingly quiet compared to the DeLonghi, last machine I had. Very nicely designed and modern look in our kitchen. Fully recommended purchase

It's a nice machine, but it's very difficult to push the buttons, these have to be held down for a long time before machine activates and does anything. That can be quite annoying

Coffees are small and a lot of water goes everywhere. Looks good though and like the all in one feature

Having use this machine for over a month I can say that I am fully satisfied with it. It is working perfectly and produces a really good cup of coffee… Cleaning is more complicated than my previous Krupp's machine but you do get used to it. Build quality appears to be good and depending on the longevity over time the jury is out on that…

Given to us for our 50th Wedding anniversary. Instructions weren't easy to follow and still leaning how to use it properly.

Very pleased with this machine which, in this household, is rated as an excellent buy. Dissuaded previously by the complex mechanism of bean to cup machines but this model is simple to use and produces an excellent, consistent, product on each use occasion. In addition the phone app is very good at guiding you through the various maintenance and cleaning actions required.

I bought this as my daughter had one. Easy to use. Love the froth and can use your intensity of beans. Easy to clean. You can customize your strength level, froth level and cup size.

review Update in less than a month … Unfortunately I'm sad to say the part where you put the scoop of already grinned coffee in has stopped working, it only puts out water and chucks the coffee in the disposal bin. … The coffee comes out hot enough, but not piping hot

My husband wanted a bean to cup machine. As I don't drink coffee this was his choice. Loses a star because the instructions are rubbish. Found help on YouTube. In our 80s so proper instructions would have been helpful. He says the coffee is good once he sorted out which was best. So far Starbucks beans win. Has tried 4 or 5 others. An extra shot of expresso improves the latte, which otherwise turns out too weak.

This was brought as a replacement for a DeLonghi that has delivered over 14700 coffees and decided to start leak water and become unreliable. … The instructions that come with the device were not great but once found the manual online that made things clearer. … Quiet to grind the beans in fact water pump is loudest part of the delivery.

Bought on Prime day, and it was an excellent purchase which is used every day. Real fresh ground coffee with very little faff.Remembering always that coffee is only as good as the beans you use, if you use excellent beans you get consistently excellent coffee. Milk steamer works well, my only minor criticism would be that you cannot steM milk alone.

Excellent value for money. Quite noise which is refreshing change. The buttons and layout very easy to follow and intuitive. Milk come out really really well. Water tank is large and detachables are simple to use. Highly recommended

…If you drink Cappuccino its very frothy and not very hot, even after setting it on the hottest setting… The milk frother is however excelent, no tubes to clean, very easy and dishwasher safe… if your just after hot milk that larger than a shot this machine wont do it…

Purchased the Phillips 3300 three months ago but not 100% happy because the frost that the latte go makes is not a real coffee froth plus the coffee is not hot enough and my machine doesn't make a flat white!!!… it only makes a small cup of coffee, not a large Mug like I prefer!… I don't recommend buying this model !!!!

I've used quite a few bean to cup coffee machines over the years, and this product is by far the most consistent and easiest to live with. The coffee quality is excellent every time, whether I'm making an espresso, cappuccino, latte, or even an iced coffee… The LatteGo milk system is a real highlight. It's quick to assemble, easy to clean…

We splashed out in order to get this item but were extremely disappointed. The machine kept clogging up and produced either extremely weak coffee or no coffee at all. Even when it was working it was very messy and needed constant cleaning with water and sludgy coffee all over the place. Sent it back in the end which John Lewis were very good about.

The Philips 3300 LatteGo is an easy-to-use, low-maintenance bean-to-cup coffee machine featuring exceptionally quiet grinding and a tubeless milk system that is remarkably quick to clean. However, its espresso extraction is on the lighter side compared to competing machines, and the milk froth leans towards a thicker layer rather than a silky microfoam. It is well-suited for everyday coffee drinkers and families looking for maximum convenience over barista-grade espresso intensity.
YouTube · Review
The Philips 3300 Series LatteGo offers excellent value for money with a sleek design, responsive touch controls, and quiet bean grinding. However, coffee preparation times can be slightly longer than average, and the milk frother operates quite noisily.
YouTube · Review
The Philips 3300 is a compact, user-friendly bean-to-cup machine designed for everyday convenience and easy cleaning. While the espresso is somewhat lighter and the milk froth is not barista-grade microfoam, its two-piece LatteGo system and straightforward front-access design make daily maintenance effortless.
YouTube · Review
The Philips 3300 is an updated super-automatic espresso machine featuring a fresh design, a vibrant colour touch display, and a significantly quieter grinder than previous models. It offers convenient on-the-fly drink customisation and uses the LatteGo system for effortless milk frothing, though it lacks a dedicated Americano button. Overall, it is an easy-to-use, efficient coffee maker backed by solid warranty coverage.
