The Beko CaffeExperto CEG7302B is a compact, entry-level bean-to-cup machine. It has a 19-bar pump, a 2 L tank, a 250 g hopper with 13 grind settings, a colour touchscreen with five black-coffee presets and a manual steam wand. Owners and Trusted Reviews rate it as easy to use, self-cleaning and good value, and it is usually sold well below its list price. Coffee tastes good once the grind is set finer. The weak points are espresso that runs a little cool, a basic steam wand with no steam control, and a water tank filled from the back. A few early failures have been reported. It suits people moving from pods to fresh beans who mainly drink black coffee. It is less suited to keen milk-drink makers who want microfoam or one-touch lattes. Long-term reliability data is not available.

What the features mean in everyday use.
Bean-to-cup machine with a 19-bar pump, 2 L removable water tank, 250 g bean hopper and 13 grind settings; also accepts pre-ground coffee.
Colour touch display with five pre-set black coffee options, two strength levels and a dual nozzle for two cups at once; no user profiles and no automatic milk system.
Compact footprint for a bean-to-cup machine: 340 x 275 x 405 mm (H x W x D) and 9.6 kg; power 1350 W with a 1 m cord.
Trusted Reviews measured an espresso shot at 57°C, below the ideal 60-65°C, and needed a finer grind plus the intense setting to get a good shot.
Trusted Reviews found no control over steam flow and quite foamy results without tight microfoam, though decent results are possible with practice; overall rated a good, easy-to-use, great-value entry-level machine.
Ease of use was the most frequent praise in the store reviews read (11 of 24), with buyers highlighting one-touch drinks and the clear touchscreen.
12 of 24 reviews read praised the taste or quality of the coffee, several noting a finer grind setting improves results.
8 of 24 reviews read liked the automatic rinse on switch-on/off and easy front access for cleaning; one AO reviewer found cleaning a bit fiddly.
7 of 24 reviews read described the machine as good value, especially when bought on discount or when switching from pods.
Two reviewers said drinks are not hot enough and they top up with hot water or use the microwave.
Two Amazon.co.uk UK reviewers returned units that developed faults within two days (one with a coffee-grounds warning that would not clear); 1-star ratings make up 17% of Amazon's star split. One Currys reviewer said early bean-hopper jamming was fixed in later production.
The water tank is filled from the rear under a lid, which two reviewers found awkward under shelves; one reported the float water-level sensor sticking after a few weeks and no soft-water setting for descaling intervals.
Three reviewers were lukewarm on milk drinks: the frother is 'not the best', steam can cut off before milk is hot, and milky coffees can taste weak unless a double shot is used.
Three reviewers valued the separate chute for pre-ground coffee, e.g. for decaf.
Beko's product page gives a 1-year standard guarantee extended to 2 years free if registered within 90 days; retailers variously list 1 or 2 years.
Major UK retailers list a was-price of £449 and sell it heavily discounted (Currys, Amazon and AO at £249 on the check date).
Which? has tested the machine (first reviewed February 2024, released October 2023) but its score and verdict are behind a paywall.
No long-term reliability data was found; owner evidence covers mostly the first weeks or months of use, so durability beyond the guarantee period is uncertain.

Summarised from 24 reviews
Owners mostly find the CaffeExperto simple to use, with one-touch drinks, a clear touchscreen and an automatic rinse that keeps cleaning easy. Many say it makes good coffee once the grinder is set finer, and several call it good value, especially compared with pods. The ground-coffee chute is liked for decaf. Recurring complaints: coffee that is not hot enough, a basic steam wand that makes milk drinks harder, and a rear-filled water tank that is awkward under cupboards. A few buyers had units fail within days, and one reported a sticking water-level sensor. Owner reports mostly cover the first weeks or months, so long-term reliability is unclear.

I bought one of these when they first came out despite the few quirks people had noticed. It would take too long to list all the improvements, however... Some of the previous reviews mentioned coffee beans getting stuck in the storage area so the machine can "run out" of beans when they got stuck... now credit where credit is due.. someone in the design department actually read those reviews and seems to have took it away and improved the model without changing the model number. …

A really well specced machine that is easily operated. Many drinks are on the responsive touch screen and the online operational videos show how they are made. The Americano setting is perfect for the morning coffee without hassle. Very pleased with my purchase.

Great machine. Makes different types of coffee at touch of a button. Larger hopper for 250g of coffee beans. And option powder option which I use for decaf coffee. Large water tank, although it’s at the back so filling can be tricky. Weaker beans can be okay with double espresso. Coffee grind needs to be turned to fine helps. Easy to clean with a small coffee brew unit.

I have to say I was a little skeptical buying a Beko product but I didn’t need to be, high quality parts and super easy to use. The self cleaning before and after turning on keeps itself clean. Brew speed is perfect and it’s at the push of a button. Not massive and quite compact. Great value for money if you are switching from a pod style machine to something be like this!

Frother not the best

…The coffees are really good quality, the only minor niggle is the sames as most other machines in that it is not hot enough for many people so we pop it in the microwave for 30 seconds. There are 2 annoying issues with this machine. Firstly we live in a very soft water area but there are no options in the machine to input this… The second thing is the water level sensor. It is very annoying and of poor design. After just a few weeks every time you will the water tank the machine won't work as the sensor tells the machine there is no water. It is a simple float tyolpe sensor and it sticks.…

As promised, here's the update. Had the machine for less than 48 hours and it's developed a fault. The coffee grounds indicator came on, I followed the manual, cleaned and washed everything and left it to dry and the warning light won't clear. Sending back and I have ordered a similar machine from a different brand.…
A*** C*** 5/5 5 January 2025 Amazon Text reports a failure despite the 5-star rating
So many different types of coffee available at the touch of a button. Enhanced flavour in the bean prep also add to the flavour of the drink. A great success but buyers beware of the need to lift the rear lid to fill the tank.… UNFORTUNATELY HAD TO RETURN IT AFTER 2 DAYS WHEN IT STOPPED WORKING. REFUND AUTHORISED BY SELLER. VERY DISSAPOINTED.

Very Happy with this purchase, been using for couple weeks now and it makes good coffee. Read the manual and watched a YouTube vid to learn all the tricks. Definitely recommend

Super bean to cup coffee machine which will also accept pre-ground coffee in an alternative section. Its really very clever - tells you when the coffee waste needs disposing, when to add more water to the tank BUT it doesn't make a croissant to go…

The Beko CaffeExperto CEG7302 punches well above its price point, offering sturdy build quality, an intuitive touchscreen, and convenient front-facing access for cleaning. It delivers surprisingly intense espresso and features a cleverly automated steam purge alongside the option to froth milk like a professional wand. Its main drawback is the Americano setting, which merely extracts an overly long espresso rather than diluting a shot with clean hot water.
