The Beko CaffeExperto CEP5304X is a slim, ground-coffee espresso machine with a 15-bar pump, a colour touch screen and an integrated milk jug that makes cappuccinos and lattes at the touch of a button. Owners praise how easy it is to use and clean, its small footprint and the taste of the coffee, and many see it as good value. The recurring drawback is temperature: many owners find drinks and milk come out warm rather than hot, and there is no cup warmer, so pre-warming cups is often needed. The milk container can be fiddly, and the guarantee is only one year. It suits people who mainly want easy milky coffees in a small kitchen, not those who want very hot drinks, fresh beans or manual barista control. Long-term reliability evidence is limited to a few individual reports.
Before you buy
What the features mean in everyday use.
The CEP5304X takes ground coffee only. It has a 15-bar pump, a 1.1-litre water tank and no grinder. The CaffeExperto CEG models are the bean-to-cup machines in the range, with 19 bar.
Beko describes an integrated milk jug that draws milk from an external container and heats and froths it inside the machine for one-touch cappuccinos and lattes. A colour touch display selects the drinks.
A dual nozzle brews two coffees at the same time.
The machine is 205 mm wide, 310 mm high and 425 mm deep, and weighs 4.01 kg net.
The CEP5304X comes with a 1-year parts and labour guarantee. The CEG bean-to-cup models in the same range come with 2 years.
The most common complaint is that coffee or frothed milk comes out warm rather than hot. Some owners returned the machine over it. Others pre-warm their cups or microwave the drink. One owner thinks the lower temperature is sensible.
Many owners say the machine is easy to set up and use through the touch screen, and easy to clean.
Owners often describe the espresso, cappuccinos and lattes as tasting good. A few say the coffee is weak or that the grounds stay wet after brewing.
Owners like the slim, compact body for small kitchens and describe the look as modern or stylish.
Some owners find the milk container awkward to remove or slightly flimsy. One notes the machine may not work if the container is not pushed fully home.
There are isolated reliability reports. One machine stopped working after a couple of days. Another owner had the same descale and flush fault after about three months on two machines in a row. These are individual reports, not a failure rate.
On 27 October 2026 the CEP5304X cost £129 at Amazon.co.uk, Currys and Appliances Direct (each showing about £60 off a £189–£190 was/RRP price) and £189.99 at Euronics.
Several owners call it good value for the price.
Owners who mention the frother say it makes smooth, creamy, café-style foam. One owner felt it made too much foam.
Which? lists no cup warmer. This fits owners' advice to pre-warm cups to keep drinks hot.
Which? has lab-tested the CEP5304X, but its score, verdict and reliability data are not publicly visible.
The machine has keep-warm, auto shut-off, a descaling programme and an auto-rinse cleaning function. It has no delay timer.
Owner feedback suggests the machine suits people who mostly drink milky coffees and want simple one-touch operation. People who want very hot drinks or full manual control are likely to be less satisfied.

See the common points first, then read the original reviews yourself.
Summarised from the 34 reviews we read. A review can mention several points, so the theme counts can add up to more than 34.
Owners mostly like how simple this machine is. The touch screen and one-touch milk drinks are easy to learn, it is quick to clean, and the slim body fits small kitchens. Many say it makes tasty espresso, cappuccino and lattes and is good value. The clear weak point is temperature: a large share of owners say drinks and frothed milk come out warm rather than hot, and some returned the machine over it. Pre-warming cups helps, according to several owners. Smaller complaints are a milk container that is awkward to remove or feels flimsy, occasional weak coffee or wet grounds, and a couple of reports of early faults.

It did work only for couple of days. Would not recommend this product. Looks like there is manufacturer issue

I would have given this machine the full 5 stars were it not for one annoying problem I’ve had all along. It works beautifully apart from the fact that it is a battle to remove the milk holder. Every single time I need to pull this component off it refuses to come away! … It ruins the whole performance for me and there’s no way I can recommend the machine now.
Customer 1/5 17 April 2026 appliances-direct (Feefo) AO, CEP5304X stainless steel
I’m not happy with this coffee machine. The coffee comes out too cold and the taste is very weak. It also makes too much foam, which I don’t like. It might be okay for people who prefer milky drinks like lattes, but it’s not for me.

Customer 4/5 16 March 2026 appliances-direct (Feefo) Currys, CEP5304X silver
Great value coffee machine for those that love good coffee without the faff. Only slight downside is the tamper seems like it might snap (but it hasn't) and getting the filter out to wash it can be a bit tricky because it is quite tight …

I’m really impressed with this coffee machine. It looks modern and stylish in my kitchen and doesn’t take up too much space. The touch screen is very easy to use and the coffee tastes absolutely delicious. It heats up quickly and makes perfect espresso and cappuccino. The milk frother works great and creates smooth, creamy foam. Cleaning is also simple and straightforward. …

Great little coffee machine. Does exactly what it says. Makes a nice coffee. Not complicated to use at all and it's great it has the milk frother attached. Overall Great machine without all the faff.

K*** K*** G*** 2/5 7 December 2025 Amazon Style: fully integrated milk
I really wanted to love this coffee machine. The size is perfect for my kitchen, the set-up was incredibly easy, and the different modes and drink options are genuinely impressive. On paper, it feels like it should be the ideal machine. But the biggest issue—and it’s a big one—is the temperature. No matter which drink you choose, everything comes out barely lukewarm. You have to drink it within seconds before it cools completely, which totally defeats the point of making a nice hot coffee. …
C*** A*** 5/5 27 September 2025 Amazon Style: fully integrated milk
I absolutely adore this coffee machine — the coffee tastes fantastic. … The only slight criticism is the milk dispenser itself. It takes a little getting used to to remove it in one smooth action, and it feels slightly flimsy. I’ve got used to handling it now, but it can stop the machine working if it’s not pushed in fully. Some reviewers mention the coffee is a little cooler than café coffee, and I agree. Warming your cup beforehand helps maintain the temperature …
j*** 5/5 11 September 2025 Amazon Style: fully integrated milk
… The best part? The coffee tastes incredible. It brews quickly, consistently, and with the perfect temperature every time. I love how easy it is to use – just one touch, and I have a barista-quality cup of coffee in minutes. The milk frother is a game-changer too, making silky lattes and cappuccinos just like my favorite coffee shop. Cleaning is super simple, which makes it even better. …
G*** K*** 4/5 18 July 2025 Amazon Style: fully integrated milk
… However, there's one significant drawback that prevents this machine from being truly perfect: the coffee temperature. While the brew quality is high, the resulting coffee consistently falls short of being piping hot. It's warm enough to drink immediately, but for those who prefer their coffee scalding hot, it might be a bit of a disappointment. I often find myself needing to microwave my cup for an extra 15-20 seconds to achieve my desired warmth …
r*** 1/5 11 October 2024 Amazon Style: fully integrated milk
This machine looks good and i liked the touch screen, however this is the only good thing going for it, whilst it does make a good espresso, as to heating the milk, well that is the bad part, no sooner as i have made my drink and sat down the drink is cold, if you want a decent coffee maker do not buy this !!!!

In testing, it quickly prepared smooth espresso, double espresso, cappuccino, and latte drinks, though larger milk drinks can overflow smaller cups if not monitored. Overall, it is praised for being well-made, easy to use, and good value for money.
