The Beko CaffeExperto CED7524X is a compact semi-automatic espresso machine. It grinds beans straight into the portafilter, tamps them automatically and brews seven one-touch drinks, including cold brew, with an integrated milk jug for lattes and cappuccinos. It also takes ground coffee, E.S.E. pods and compatible capsules, which makes it unusually flexible. Early users mostly find it easy to use and like the espresso it makes. The main complaints are a small, fiddly milk jug, small default drink sizes, a small 150 g hopper and a largely plastic build, and the guarantee is only one year. It suits people moving up from pods who want fresh-ground coffee without learning manual barista skills. Enthusiasts wanting fine control, or big mug-sized milk drinks, may outgrow it. The model is new and has no independent test or long-term reliability record yet.
Before you buy
What the features mean in everyday use.
The CED7524X is a semi-automatic espresso machine. Its GrindPro grinder doses beans directly into the portafilter, AutoTamping compresses the coffee, and the user then fits the portafilter for brewing.
Accepts whole beans, ground coffee, E.S.E. pods and compatible capsules.
Seven one-touch drinks, including cold brew, are selected on a colour touch screen. There are 2 strength settings, 3 grind settings and 3 brewing temperatures.
1.5 L water tank, 150 g bean hopper, 20-bar pump and a milk container of about 300 ml.
Milk drinks are made with an integrated, removable milk jug that froths automatically. Currys' spec table also says 'Steam wand', which contradicts the manufacturer.
Beko gives the machine as 350 mm high, 260 mm wide and 420 mm deep, weighing 7 kg.
The standard manufacturer guarantee is 1 year, which is short for a machine with a grinder.
There is no integrated water filter, no memory function for personalised drinks and no Wi-Fi/app control.
Most Amazon UK reviewers find it easy to use and say it makes good, coffee-shop-style espresso and Americano, especially with fresh beans.
Several reviewers say the milk froths well and that frothiness is adjustable. Cold brew is mentioned as a welcome extra.
Two reviewers criticise the milk jug as too small and fiddly to detach. One found the default drink volumes tiny and the froth weak, and returned the machine. Another said careless cup positioning sends coffee into the drip tray.
One reviewer reports a mostly plastic body behind a metal-effect front and a small bean hopper. Several say the many settings take time to learn.
The model is new to the UK (Beko flags it as a 'New Product'). Most of the written feedback comes from Amazon Vine testers who received it free, and no long-term reliability evidence or independent lab test was found.
UK retailers list it at about £249–£280, below its £299.99 RRP. AO and Mark's Electrical offer £236 to members.
Retailers disagree on power: 1688 W at AO, Mark's Electrical and Appliances Direct, 1754 W at Currys. Beko's spec table does not state it.
Automatic cleaning, rinsing and descaling programmes are built in. One reviewer notes that the milk container is cleaned along with the machine.

Summarised from the 8 reviews we read. A review can mention several points, so the theme counts can add up to more than 8.
Early buyers and testers mostly like how easy the CED7524X is to use. They also like that it takes beans, ground coffee or pods, and say it makes rich espresso and Americano that compares well with coffee shops, particularly with fresh beans. Milk frothing and cold brew get praise from several reviewers, and the compact footprint suits small kitchens. Criticism centres on the milk jug, which some find too small and fiddly. One buyer found the default drink volumes tiny and the froth weak, and returned it. Others mention a mainly plastic body, a small bean hopper, a learning curve with the many settings, and the need to position cups carefully. Most of the written feedback comes from testers who received the machine free, and none covers long-term use.

Other people seem to love this machine, so maybe I'm just an idiot, but I found it this really difficult to use. The default quantities for all the drinks are tiny, and even after resetting them, it's hard to get a decent-sized latte or cappuccino. The milk frother is small, so you end up with half a mug, even when you program it to the max. Also, its frothing capabilities are weak. The best you can hope for is half of mug of warm milk. After two days of faffing about with this machine, I sent it back.

Easy to use , makes great coffee

I use this Beko coffee machine alongside my manual espresso machine, and I’ve found it to be an excellent option for quick and convenient coffees at home. It’s very easy to use, the build quality feels decent, and the display is clear and straightforward to navigate. I mainly use it for Americano, which is very quick to prepare, and the espresso tastes great when using freshly roasted local coffee beans. The milk frother also works well for cappuccinos… I can't tell the durability just yet but I believe it should be reliable with regular proper maintenance like descaling and cleaning.

This is a really versatile coffee machine and a big step up from using pods alone. Having the grinder built in is very convenient, and the auto-tamping feature takes away some of the guesswork when making espresso. … There are quite a few settings and features to get familiar with, so it takes a little time to learn the machine. Once you’ve got everything dialled in, though, it’s a very capable all-rounder.
R*** 5/5 12 August 2026 Amazon Vine Customer Review of Free Product
This machine is the best coffee machine i have had and used. The taste of the coffee it produces is amazing. This is a versatile machine - you can use pods, beans etc. I prefer to use beans as I think this has the most flavoursome effect. … Size wise it isnt too big for the kitchen side and it looks good too.
T*** B*** R*** 5/5 10 August 2026 Amazon Vine Customer Review of Free Product
First impressions are really good. It feels like a heavy, beautifully made bit of kit, and if you like coffee, it’s incredibly easy to use. Chuck your beans in, add your milk, choose your desired hot or cold drink from the menu on the front, and away you go. … It’s surprisingly easy to use, and the automatic milk frother system takes a lot of the work out of making your coffee. … It’s certainly not the cheapest coffee machine out there, but as always, you get what you pay for.
d*** c*** r*** c*** 3/5 3 August 2026 Amazon Vine Customer Review of Free Product
However, it is entirely made of plastic despite the 'metal' effect front panel. … Whist the water tank is a reasonable size, the bean hopper is quite small and will require frequent replenishment, and the milk tank is a terrible piece of deign. It is far too small, detaching it from the machine is a real fiddle, as is removing the lid without dripping milk everywhere. Also, you have to be very careful with the positioning of your cup or mug, otherwise half of your drink will end up in the drip tray. … Not a bad starter machine but, if you are serious about your coffee, I suspect you will soon be looking to upgrade.
M*** 5/5 27 July 2026 Amazon Vine Customer Review of Free Product
Where to start, honestly this is amazing. I love good coffee, I won’t drink instant (doesn’t even taste like coffee) and the pod machine that I had was only passable, but this machine makes extremely good coffee shop quality coffee. … The milk goes into the side container, I have tried both semi skimmed milk and a wonderful cinnamon plant based milk, both froth really well, you can adjust how frothy you want your milk, and I love that it heats the milk too. … The cold brew is superb too, it will save me from buying so many cans of iced coffee. … It doesn’t have a huge footprint so will fit in most kitchens.
