The Sage Nespresso Creatista Pro is Sage's top Nespresso Original pod machine. Dual ThermoJet heating lets its automatic steam wand texture milk while coffee brews, and a colour touch screen offers presets plus fine milk temperature and froth control. Owners consistently praise its ease of use, microfoam quality and milk drinks, and it is faster and more adjustable than the Creatista Plus. Against that, it is expensive for a pod machine, coffee strength is limited by Original capsules, and a notable share of owner reviews report steam wand faults, leaks or descale-loop errors, sometimes followed by slow repairs. It suits people who mainly drink lattes, cappuccinos and flat whites and want café-style milk without an espresso machine's learning curve. Long-term reliability has not been independently tested.
Strengths
Brews coffee and textures milk at the same time thanks to dual ThermoJet heating, with a claimed 3-second heat-up
Very adjustable milk drinks: 11 milk temperatures, 8 froth levels, adjustable coffee and water volumes, and saved presets
Owners find the touch screen intuitive and the machine easy to use and clean
Show all (4)
Large 2 L tank and 12-capsule container
Things to consider
Repeated owner reports of steam wand failures, leaks and descale-loop errors, sometimes within weeks
Warranty repairs and refunds can be slow, with buyers referred between retailer, Sage and Nespresso
Expensive for a pod machine, and black coffee is no stronger than on cheaper Nespresso models
Show all (4)
Small irritations reported: cups vibrating on the stand, splashing, and hot water that cannot be made cooler
Who is it for, and who is it not for?
Good for
Milk-drink lovers who want café-style microfoam at the touch of a button
Households already using Nespresso Original capsules who want to upgrade from a Creatista Plus or a basic machine
May not suit
People who mostly drink espresso or black coffee, who get little benefit over a much cheaper Nespresso machine
Buyers who want strong coffee or free choice of beans, since only Original-compatible capsules can be used
The UK Brushed Stainless Steel version is SNE900BSS4GUK1 (EAN 9312432035446), sold by Sage UK, Nespresso UK, Argos, Currys and John Lewis. A Black Truffle version, SNE900BTR2GUK1, is sold on Amazon.co.uk.
Sage and Nespresso say the dual ThermoJet heating heats up in 3 seconds and can brew coffee while the wand textures milk, making two cappuccinos in about 75 seconds.
There are 8 preset drinks plus hot water, with 7 coffee volume levels, 7 hot-water volume levels, 11 milk temperatures and 8 froth levels. Personal settings can be saved through the colour touch screen.
Reviewers at all four retailers most often praise how easy the touch screen and one-touch drinks are to use. Several who moved up from the Creatista Plus or other Nespresso machines say it is easier and faster.
Owners like the automatic steam wand, the adjustable milk temperature and froth, and being able to brew and steam at the same time. T3's reviewer called the froth café-quality and silky.
Many reviewers describe the coffee as excellent for a pod machine. T3, however, found the coffee no different from much cheaper Nespresso machines and found long blacks and lungos weak, and some owners also find the capsules too weak.
A significant minority of owner reviews report faults. These include steam wand failures, leaks, water-supply errors, a broken pod mechanism, and machines stuck in a repeated descale loop, the last reported especially on the Amazon Black Truffle listing. Several owners mention repeat repairs through Nespresso. Store reviews cannot show a failure rate.
Its premium features are all about milk drinks. T3 concluded that people who do not drink milky coffee get little extra over a basic Nespresso machine.
The Creatista Plus (BNE800) has a 1500 W single ThermoJet, a 1.5 L tank and 3 programmable cup sizes. The Pro adds dual heating, a larger tank, a touch screen and more milk and volume settings.
Isolated complaints mention the cup stand vibrating cups off the tray, splashing, hot water that cannot be made cooler, a small on-screen keyboard and visible fingerprints.
Owners find the machine easy to clean. The steam wand purges itself automatically but needs wiping after each use, and the drip tray, tank and jug are dishwasher-safe.

Owners mostly love how easy the Creatista Pro is to use. The touch screen, one-touch milk drinks and saved personal settings come up again and again, and people upgrading from the Creatista Plus say it is faster because coffee and milk are made at the same time. The automatic steam wand gets regular praise for silky, hot milk with adjustable temperature and froth, and most find the coffee very good for a pod machine. The main worry is reliability. A notable minority report steam wand failures, leaks, water-supply errors or the machine getting stuck in a descale loop, sometimes within weeks, and some describe slow repairs or being passed between retailer, Sage and Nespresso. Many call it expensive. Some feel the capsule coffee itself is no stronger than on cheaper Nespresso machines, and a few mention splashing, cups vibrating on the stand or hot water they cannot make cooler.

Perfection … the pro is very nice makes excellent coffee, as good as Costa or alike and I am very happy to own one and would highly recommend to any coffee lover.

What's not to love about this machine, any coffee drink you like at the press of a button. … It was more money than I was looking to pay for a coffee machine, however I have no regrets …

Very disappointed. … after one day of making four cups of coffee it suddenly started to register that the machine needed descaling. … it went straight back to descale mode. … I have returned it.

Unfortunately we didn't have time to fully explore the Creatista Pro's capabilities as the pod loading mechanism broke after only four shots. … the wait time specified by Nespresso for a warranty repair is simply not acceptable on a £650 machine.

Fabulous machine, especially with the ability to customise the temperature and frothiness of the milk. My coffee consumption has soared, so I am careful to switch to decaf after a few cups.

Fantastic Sage Nespresso creatista pro coffee machine. Great price, So easy to use. Uses nespresso pods and supermarket nespresso pods too. Tastes so good. … Not noisy at all. Looks great. Quick delivery. Very happy

I am delighted with my Nexpresso Creatista Pro coffee maker, it exceeds all expectations & the coffee tastes amazing. I love the touch screen & options of drinks can be adjusted to taste … It comes with a 2 year warranty.

I would give it 0 stars if I could. £600 on a machine that insists you do a descale after 2 weeks of use with filtered water. Then the machine gets stuck in a descale loop and doesn't work. Amazon wouldn't help …

Descaler mode error - can't use the machine at all. Descaled it 15 times now and same error loop. So frustrating as cost such a lot of money.
S***2/515 January 2026AmazonBlack Truffle
As others have said on here, the machine gets stuck in a descale loop and won't heat properly. … Given the current high price I would steer well clear.

An excellent nespresso pod machine. Possibly a little complex to use at first (the instructions are always a bit skimpy) but I soon got the hang of it. Plenty of options to make your coffee just the way you like it… A tad on the expensive side… No, it might not compete with a bean to cup machine but it does allow you to use different coffees every time you use it… Let's hope it lasts a good long time.

I bought this a month ago and have broken three glass cups as the cup holder vibrates and if you are not standing over the machine the cup vibrates off

…I bought my first machine 5 years ago, and things started going wrong after a couple of years; first the temperature gauge stopped working correctly; then I started getting intermittent water leaks under the machine… in the last months I have tried several alternatives, but my wife did not like the coffee taste as much, so reluctantly I have now bought my second Sage Creatista Pro… Conclusion: For quality & taste of coffee and functionality this machine deserves the full 5 stars; I have knocked off 2 stars because of the poor reliability of my first machine…

solid machine, works well - shame all volumes are pre-set tried holding down buttons but nothing works
A***4/513 February 2025ArgosSyndicated from sageappliances.com
This is simply the best Nespresso machine if you like a variety of milk based drinks as well as espresso… I had the older Creatista Plus machine and replaced it when it finally broke down after 6 years of constant use. The Pro machine is faster… As with the Plus machine, you do need to keep the milk wand clean after every use but it simply needs a wipe down with a damp cloth…

Lovely machine! And lovely coffee!!! The only thing I can not establish is whether I can add an additional water filter to it.

Easy to use and clean. Does splash a bit but its great to be able to prepare and foam the milk while also makimg the coffee

Good Points: Easiest machine so far but am still trialling to get the right strength given the pods are a finite amount of coffee. I've been doing 2 pods per cup… Improvement Points: More available training - pref on you tube.
Customer5/54 January 2023Currys
Good Points: Good build quality. Very quick water heat… Coffee quality is excellent for a pod machine. Improvement Points: It's pricey but you get what you pay for.

Good Points: Great Coffee and appearance Improvement Points: poor quality 2 machines broke 1 month each both with water supply issue saying water tank empty when fall, apparently there is design fault where feed gets kink

Don't buy this model unless you're 100% sure that you're happy with the Nespresso coffee pods! After purchasing different pods, we now know that the various coffee options are too weak for us. … Total waste of money. … Having said that, if you like the coffee, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend the machine as it's compact, looks great and is easy to use (that's why we've given four stars)…
C***5/54 February 2026John Lewis
I have been a Nespresso customer for over 20 years. … You can adjust the volume of your coffee, there are 9 coffee recipes to chose from. You can also adjust the milk temperature and frothing volume, which I found useful. … the machine cleans the steam wand by dispensing hot water once you have removed the milk jug…

I have an older version of this machine which is fantastic. I updated it with the new version but the steam wand doesn't work. I returned it over 3 weeks ago but haven't received my refund. I'm now using my old one which I love!

I had a nespresso machine for a few years & decided to change it for a new one. This machine with the two boilers is amazing. Hot, hot coffee & at the sane time , the milk is ready with an abundance of pressurised milk…
T***1/521 March 2025John Lewis
We bought this machine just over 2 years ago. The steamer for the milk has broken so many times I have lost count. … It is currently being sent away as it is now not piercing the coffee pods properly so all you get in the cup is warm water. … It's a shame as it's a lovely looking machine but is just not worth the cost.
H***5/510 February 2025John Lewis
I'm so glad I decided to go for this machine! It looks smart on my countertop, and being able to do the coffee and milk at the same time is great! I would definitely recommend this machine, I love it!

Is the Nespresso Creatista Pro Worth the Money? | Nespresso Creatista Pro Review | A2B Productions
The Sage Creatista Pro is a high-end coffee machine that delivers exceptional cafe-quality drinks quickly thanks to its dual thermoblock and rapid three-second heat-up time. While its retail price of £650 is steep compared to simpler machines, the intuitive touchscreen, simultaneous coffee and milk preparation, and potential savings on takeaway coffee make it worthwhile for milk-based coffee enthusiasts.
Nespresso Creatista Pro Review & making all the coffees
The video provides an unboxing, setup, and first look at the Sage Nespresso Creatista Pro coffee machine, demonstrating several drink preparations using the colour touchscreen. It highlights key features such as its premium stainless steel build, generous 2-litre water tank, and the ability to extract espresso and steam milk at the same time. The machine proves user-friendly with clear on-screen setup prompts and customisable milk texturing options.
Nespresso Creatista Pro vs Gran Lattissima – Full Comparison (Which One Should You Buy?)
The Creatista Pro brings a professional coffee-shop aesthetic to the kitchen, offering high levels of customisation for milk texture, temperature, and drink volume via an intuitive touchscreen. While it takes up more worktop space than simpler pod machines, its automatic steam wand produces cafe-quality microfoam capable of basic latte art. It is best suited to those who want a barista-style experience with the convenience of pod coffee.
Nespresso Creatista Pro Review - One Year Later | Sage Coffee Machine Reviews | A2B Productions
The Sage Creatista Pro allows for simultaneous coffee extraction and milk frothing, significantly speeding up drink preparation. It features a responsive touchscreen with custom recipe saving and heats up in just three seconds. However, the chrome-finish front panel and drip tray area scratch easily and feel somewhat cheap given the high price tag.
