The De'Longhi Magnifica Evo Next (ECAM310.60.B) is a mid-range bean-to-cup machine with a 15-bar pump, a built-in grinder, a colour screen with ten one-touch drinks, three user profiles and an automatic LatteCrema Hot milk carafe that rinses itself. UK owners mostly find it easy to live with and say it makes very good espresso and milk drinks once the grind and strength are dialled in. Expect a learning curve, a thin printed manual, loud grinding and limited control over milk froth and temperature. It suits households that want café-style drinks at the touch of a button and different settings for each person. It is less suited to people who want quiet operation, fine control over milk, or the cheapest route into bean-to-cup. Independent long-term reliability data was not found, and a few owners report milk-carafe faults.

The UK ECAM310.60.B is a bean-to-cup machine with a 15-bar pump, 1450 W thermoblock heating, an integrated grinder (13 settings, 250 g hopper) and a pre-ground coffee option.
De'Longhi lists 10 one-touch drinks (Espresso, Coffee, Long, Doppio+, Cappuccino, Cappuccino Mix, Latte Macchiato, Hot Milk and others) plus hot water. The machine has a 2.4-inch colour TFT display, 6 soft-touch buttons, up to 3 user profiles, 5 sizes, 4 intensity levels and 3 temperatures.
Milk drinks are made automatically with the removable LatteCrema Hot carafe (280 ml per Currys), which has a one-touch automatic cleaning cycle after each use.
The machine measures 24 x 44 x 36 cm (W x D x H) and weighs about 9.4–9.6 kg. It has no cup warmer.
UK buyers on the De'Longhi UK and Currys review feeds most often praise how easy the machine is to use and navigate, with the colour screen and on-screen prompts frequently mentioned.
Many UK reviewers describe the espresso, lattes and cappuccinos as very good, some comparing them favourably with coffee-shop drinks. TechRadar's hands-on review also rated the coffee as delicious, with good crema, once the settings were dialled in.
Several UK owners and TechRadar say it takes trial and error to find the right grind and strength settings. Some owners call the printed user guide poor or missing and relied on online videos instead.
A few UK owners mention noise. TechRadar's reviewer measured up to 82 dB while grinding (with a phone app placed next to the machine), 72 dB when emptying the puck and 66 dB when pouring, and listed noise as a drawback.
Some owners wanted more milk control: plain unfrothed hot milk, more milk-only options, or a bigger carafe. TechRadar notes there are no settings for foam level or milk temperature, and no dedicated profiles for plant milks.
Owners frequently say the machine is easy to clean, citing the automatic milk-circuit rinse and dishwasher-safe parts.
Households with several coffee drinkers value the three user profiles and the adjustable strength and size.
A small number of UK reviews report faults: a milk carafe that broke after a week and was slow to replace, a carafe that disconnects, and a flaky ground-coffee function with inconsistent drink volumes. These are individual reports and do not indicate a failure rate.
Several owners praise how hot the coffee is. One reviewer still found drinks not 'piping hot'.
TechRadar found the machine can be slow to pour compared with rivals.
UK retailers include a 2-year guarantee. One owner felt this is short for a machine at this price.
On 23 October 2026 the machine was priced at about £649 at De'Longhi UK, John Lewis and Currys. TechRadar quoted a UK list price of £499.99 in May 2025, and PriceSpy shows a lower 'from' price, so promotional discounts appear to vary widely.
The Amazon.co.uk listing has an Italian-language description, no reviews from the United Kingdom and a mixed global rating. It may be supplied from outside the UK, so the UK retailers above are the clearer route to UK stock and guarantee terms.
TechRadar notes that, per De'Longhi, the grind setting should only be changed while the grinder is running, which the reviewer found insufficiently explained.

UK owners mostly describe the Magnifica Evo Next as an easy, guided bean-to-cup machine that makes very good espresso, lattes and cappuccinos, often good enough to replace coffee-shop visits. The colour screen, step-by-step prompts, automatic milk rinse and three user profiles are the most liked features, and many say it is easy to keep clean. The main criticisms are a learning curve with grind and strength settings, a weak printed manual, grinder noise and limited milk control (no unfrothed hot milk option, smallish carafe). A few owners report faults with the milk carafe or the ground-coffee function and slow after-sales support. Opinion on drink temperature is mostly positive, and several buyers felt it was good value when bought on offer.

Recently swapped from a Nespresso vertuo machine to save costs and hoped for a better coffee experience. But frankly I'm disappointed after all of the research I decided on the fully automatic machine which makes pretty average coffee and is very loud. The water tank is too small and can be difficult to remove or replace. XL coffee is personally still rather small. Customer service are poor

Wielki problem ze spienianiem mleka. Karafka na mleko rozłącza się, przez co marnuje się mnóstwo kawy. Będąc na forum, dowiedziałam się że jest to bardzo powszechny problem.

A really well designed machine that looks sleek and is easy to clean and operate. The user guide is poor but complimented by good on screen instructions and online videos. I feel that the only thing that lets this machine down is the temperature of the drinks not being piping hot. Maybe professional coffee should not be ‘kettle-hot’?
T*** 4/5 28 December 2025 api.feefo.com De'Longhi UK store review (Feefo)
The lack of any decent instructions is the only downside, ages spent trawling the internet to find out how to use it properly: hence only 4 stars given. Once sorted and understand how it all works the machine is fantastic at what it does and would highly recommend.

This is an easy bean to cup machine. I would have liked just the milk option as a button and not pressing stop half way through a latte, but that’s the only gripe. Touch screen is easy and strength and warmth of water is good

I love this coffee machine. It’s a little on the expensive side, but so far I’d say ive definitely got my moneys worth. Love that you can adjust coffee strength and size of coffee and add personalisations to different profiles. It’s a tad noisy, but that is to be expected. Overall would definitely recommend

D*** 5/5 17 October 2026 api.feefo.com Currys review (Feefo)
The machine is excellent, easy to assemble, service and maintain. User-friendly on-screen instructions for everything and it self-cleans too. Coffee grind can be set 1-7 for bean intensity plus you can add standard instant or pre-ground coffee in a small compartment within the bean hopper and select that for any given drink if you choose. Had this a month nearly, looking forward every morning now to first coffee!
O*** 5/5 28 April 2026 api.feefo.com De'Longhi UK store review (Feefo)
I have been using this coffee machine for about a month. I cannot recommend enough. It makes great coffee. It is super easy to choose your drink, thanks to the screen. Also cleaning the machine fairly easy. The best part is the coffee is hot enough. This is important for me because I prefer my drink hot. Most people complain about fully automatic espresso machines because of this reason. However, that’s not a case here.

My 1st bean to cup machine, I had to Google instructions as I found this easier. Once set up what an enjoyable coffee experience. You just ensure you clean milk carafe properly to ensure perfect frothing, overall lovely machine, would definitely recommend.

Took a while to feel comfortable using it after my much simpler machine. But after a few tries, and reading the instructions closely, it’s working really well. Freshly ground coffee, and so much more flavour than pre-ground.

What can I say? Makes great coffee of course (always a bonus). Pressed a button and you get what you ask for without any further intervention. No tamping, no milk jug frothing yourself. It’s self cleaning, even the milk jug. For deeper cleans you bung the bits in the dishwasher.

This is my second coffee maker of your company. For a while, I wanted to trust another company, but I was disappointed with the quality of the coffee with milk dispensed. YOURS coffee makers froth the milk the way I expected it and I'm glad I'm back to my first choice.

The De'Longhi Magnifica Evo Next is one of the best low-to-mid-tier bean-to-cup machines available, delivering impressive espresso intensity, hot milk temperatures, and an intuitive user interface. Minor irritations include certain drinks pouring milk before espresso and volume restrictions on Doppio+, but these are far from deal-breakers. It represents excellent value for money, especially when picked up on sale.
